RunIntensity Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 20, 2026
1. Introduction
Zero Di, LLC ("Zero Di," "we," "us," or "our") develops RunIntensity, a training load management app for runners. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use RunIntensity on iOS.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Account Information
When you sign in with Apple, we receive a unique user identifier. If you choose not to hide your email, we may also receive your email address. We use this solely to authenticate your account.
2.2 Health and Fitness Data
With your explicit permission, RunIntensity reads the following data from Apple HealthKit:
- Running workout sessions (distance, duration, type)
- Heart rate data during workouts
- Heart rate variability (HRV)
- Resting heart rate
- Sleep analysis data
This data is used to calculate your training load (Stress-Adjusted Miles), workout intensity, and readiness scores. RunIntensity does not write any data back to Apple Health.
2.3 User-Entered Data
You may manually enter:
- Soreness information via the body diagram
- Subjective wellness ratings (SAM mood/energy/motivation)
- Body metrics (weight, resting heart rate, max heart rate)
- Personal records and training preferences
2.4 Coach Features
If you link your account to a coach, your training data (workout summaries, readiness scores, soreness reports, and SAM ratings) may be shared with your coach through the app. You can unlink from a coach at any time.
2.5 App Usage Analytics
From the first time you open the app, RunIntensity records simple usage events, such as which setup screens you saw, whether you connected Apple Health, and which features you use. These events never contain your name, email, health readings, location, or messages. They are linked to a random identifier created on your device. That identifier is not Apple's advertising identifier and is not used to track you across other companies' apps or websites. When you create an account, the identifier is linked to it so we can see how setup went. Usage events are sent only to our own servers, are not shared with or sold to anyone, and are deleted after 90 days.
If you installed RunIntensity from an Apple Search Ads advertisement, Apple tells the app which ad campaign it came from (not who you are), so we can tell which ads are worth running.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information solely to:
- Calculate training load, intensity zones, and readiness
- Provide personalized training insights and phase recommendations
- Display workout history and personal records
- Enable coach-athlete communication features
- Authenticate your account
- Understand how the app is used, such as where people get stuck during setup, so we can improve it
4. Data Storage and Security
Your health and fitness data is processed on your device and stored securely in our cloud infrastructure. We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit and at rest. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal or health data with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.
5. Data Sharing
We do not share your data with third parties except:
- With your coach, if you voluntarily link your account to a coach
- When required by law or legal process
- To protect the rights, property, or safety of our users
6. Your Rights and Choices
- HealthKit Permissions: You can revoke HealthKit access at any time in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Health > RunIntensity.
- Account Deletion: You can request deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us at [email protected].
- Coach Unlinking: You can unlink from a coach at any time in the app's Settings.
- Usage Analytics: You can turn usage analytics off at any time in the app's Settings > Privacy (“Help improve RunIntensity”). Turning it off stops collection and deletes any events not yet sent.
- Data Export: Contact us to request a copy of your data.
7. Children's Privacy
RunIntensity is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected data from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes through the app or by updating the "Last updated" date above.
